You know how sometimes you meet someone and think – wow, he/she would be a PERFECT match for my friend so-and-so – well, that was the case with Katie and Paul’s mutual friends Betsy and Derrick. They just new, and they were right. After getting a little nudge from friends and fate, and fast forwarding a few years, Katie and Paul are truly the perfect couple – lovely inside and out, kindhearted, driven, happy, and so completely smitten with each other!
I’ve known Katie for some time now, and if there’s one thing to be said about her, it’s that she’s a bit of a perfectionist. Katie works harder than anyone I know to get things just right, and that mantra wasn’t lost while planning the details for her wedding. From the dress (ohhh the dress!) to the shoes (ohhhh the shoes!), to the gorgeous flowers that made up the bridal party bouquets and reception centerpieces (ohhh the flowers!); everything fell together perfectly with a subtle rustic elegance and a touch of bling, exactly as Katie and Paul had imagined. Incorporating it all into a sentimental ceremony at the Church of the Holy Family and chic reception at the Minnesota History Center, Katie and Paul’s wedding made for one completely fabulous day. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Fitting, right? :)
When the bride and her momma sport stellar heels like these, they deserve a little photo shoot for themselves. Seriously, the shoes at this wedding were to die for!!
